High Waisted Classic Silk French Knicker - Emerald

I bought the high-waisted silk knickers in Plum and Emerald. The colors are true to the photos as seen on my Iphone and Kindle screens. The silk is a soft satin weave, but also thick enough that I believe it will last. These sit an inch below my bellybutton and extend down just enough to cover my bum so that I can run out to the mailbox or the car without feeling completely indecent. I wear size 6/8 pants (or 0-2 US). I sized up to a 10 - I almost always do this to avoid the dreaded panty lines of tight elastics. I should have gone with an 8, as the 10 is just a touch too much fabric. That's on me, but next time I'll go with my size as per the size chart. If you also like to size up on bottoms, maybe don't. The waist elastic isn't too tight and the rest of the cut is so forgiving and flowy!
I haven't washed anything yet, but I've never had any silk that felt like this and didn't handwash well. These bottoms are comfortable and cute, and I hope to buy more in the future! If you're wondering about all the positive reviews, I think you can believe the hype! Thanks, Desvalido ladies!
